The Mind-Body Connection
There’s a lot of talk about the “mind-body” connection, but what do we really mean by it? Does it exist? How does it work?
Classical Yoga understands the mind-body connection as a fundamental principle that informs every practice and a way of life. In fact there is more to it than just the mind and body…and much more to YOU also.
Have a listen and find out.

Nada Yoga Workshop
The Yoga of Sound & the Joy of Effortless Meditation. With Amritamurti
Nada Yoga, or the Yoga of sound, is a system of practices that uses the medium of sound vibration to focus, calm and clear the mind, to soothe the heart & to fill the body with energy and joy.
It is almost impossible to stay “stuck” in heavy thoughts, feelings or sensations when we sing. Sound & mantra propel us out of “stuck-ness” and into our natural state—that of joy, ease & a sense of unity with our surroundings.
Join Amritamurti in this 2 hr introductory session. We begin with simple asana and breath work to prepare the body & focus the mind. We then move into singing of the notes & shift to working with the unviversal mantra of healing— Mahamrtiyunjana Mantra,
No singing ability needed! -

November 23, 2021
Do you ever have a “gut feeling” about someone?
Our body speaks to us all of the time. It gives us cues about our basic needs of hunger, thirst, warmth & safety. But it also gives us much more than that. In our body’s felt sense lie our intuition & deep knowing.
The problem is, this “little voice within”— with its wealth of information—is one we often ignore or deny.
Befriend your body & reconnect with its wisdom. Discover your “felt sense” & how your body can help you develop more clarity, build self-trust & make decisions with integrity. -

What People Are Saying
“Thank you for last week's session. It was a great reset for me. I think I took more notes than I did in any college course, and there were several points that really were powerful - the notion that "treat sweets like recreational drugs"; the connection between emotions (including trauma) and physical pain and inflammation ... actually, as I look over my notes, there were so many great learning nuggets.”
— Richard, on “Boosting our Mental & Physical Immunity” session
“SUCH a wonderful session this morning with Ganesh. I was hesitant to do this because I knew nothing about dance movement therapy, and the prospect of any dancing at 8:15 am was not my normal routine. But I loved it. Learning something completely new by 9:30 on a Wednesday is a wonderful way to start the day.”
— R. F, on “Dancing back to Life”
